Diamond Head State Monument: A Sunrise Hike to Remember

I woke up early in the morning to embark on an adventure that I will never forget.

I had heard about Diamond Head State Monument from a friend and decided to check it out.

It is a dormant volcano crater that offers amazing hikes and stunning coastal views.

As I arrived at the park, I was handed a map and started my trek to the top of the crater.

The path started out paved for a small bit, and then it turned rocky and uneven as it wound its way up to the top.

There were many stairs, but everyone was courteous in pulling to the side if they needed a break or if someone else was going the opposite way.

I chose to do the sunrise hike, so I arrived at 6 am (they open at 5:45 am) for the sun to rise at 6:30 am.

The temperature was perfect before the sun was coming up.

Many other people had the same idea as me because it was quite crowded at the top and hard to find a spot to sit and watch the sunrise.

There is a bunker built into the side that has some signs about at the top.

At the top, you can get a view of the crater below, a view out onto the ocean, a view of Waikiki, and a mountain/island view.

Experience Nutridge: A Magical and Intimate Luau in Oahu

Experience Nutridge is a unique and intimate luau that offers visitors a truly magical experience.

I highly recommend this luau to anyone who wants to learn more about Hawaiian culture and feel like family.

Unlike the big commercial luaus that are more like a production, Experience Nutridge is a small group family-style luau that focuses on sharing the Hawaiian culture with you.

Why You Should Visit Experience Nutridge, Oahu:

Experience Nutridge is the highlight of any trip to Oahu.

The luau is set on a beautiful mountain estate overlooking Honolulu and Waikiki.
