If you go south on this lower path, you’ll head towards Hoboken, and before reaching Hoboken, you’ll pass a lovely boat harbor and a Houlihan’s Restaurant, which is highly recommended for its stunning views and good food.

Note that during weekdays, there are parking restrictions in the area, but these are lifted in the afternoon.

If you arrive at the base of the palisade, you’ll find parking around the ferry docks, especially Port Imperial and Lincoln Harbor.
