Boones Antiques: A Journey Through Time

As I stepped through the doors of Boones Antiques, I felt as though I had been transported to a different era.

The sheer size of the place is awe-inspiring, with four acres under roof in two massive buildings.

But it’s not just the size that sets Boones apart from other antique places.

It’s the organization, the selection, the quality, and the people that truly make this place stand out.

The organization of the items on display is unlike anything I have ever seen.

Instead of the usual jumbles and stacks of random goods, everything is displayed in amazing order.

Chairs in one room, tables in another, cabinets with all like cabinets in another space.

It was so easy to find anything I might want to add to my collection.

The selection at Boones is unparalleled.

With three buyers in England and others across the US, if what you want is available, Boones probably has it.

And the quality of the items on display is simply amazing.

No matter the age, the condition is fine, and you can probably put the item to use when you get to your destination.

Mostly, the goods are traditional antiques, often sourced from Britain.

But what really sets Boones Antiques apart is the people.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of the Boone brothers during my visit.

He spent time with me and explained the business and the history as if I were an old customer.

Mr.

Hill, who met us upon arrival, was also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

As I walked through the rooms, I was blown away by the beauty of the antiques on display.

It truly felt like I was visiting a museum.

And with five buildings and four acres of the most beautiful antiques I have ever seen, it’s no wonder that some employees have been there for 45 years.

If you’re planning a trip to Wilson, North Carolina, Boones Antiques is a must-see attraction.

It’s not just a business, it’s an amazing journey through time.

So don’t be fooled by the low yellow building close to the road.

Try the front door and enter this amazing world.

And make sure you have plenty of time to explore the history.
