Hocking Hills Winery: A Must-Visit Destination for Wine Lovers

As a self-proclaimed wine enthusiast, I always make it a point to visit wineries whenever I travel.

During my recent trip to Logan, Ohio, I stumbled upon Hocking Hills Winery and I must say, it was one of the best wine-tasting experiences I’ve ever had.

Why You Should Visit Hocking Hills Winery, Logan:

The winery is a family-owned and operated establishment that has been producing quality wines since 2013.

Their wines are made from local grapes as well as grapes from around the country, ensuring a diverse selection that caters to all tastes.

The winery offers a tasting flight that includes eight 1 oz pours for just $10, and you can add two more for $2.50.

Unlike other wineries, they have a large selection of wines in both white and red, as well as sweet and dry.

Their Cabernet Sauvignon was one of my favorites, while my wife enjoyed their sweet Chardonnay.

The prices for the bottles of wine were moderate, making it an affordable experience.

What To Do in Hocking Hills Winery, Logan:

Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the grounds.

The approach to the winery is something special, with multiple outdoor seating areas that are beautifully landscaped.

The outdoor patio is spacious and well spread out, making it a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the wines.

They also host live music on Friday and Saturday nights, which is a great way to spend a weekend evening.

If you’re feeling peckish, they offer a winery medley charcuterie tray that includes pepperoni, salami, white cheddar, pepper Jack, fresh veggies, and hummus.

While the hummus was a little bland, the rest of the tray was excellent.

The real winner for us, however, was the wine slushie.

Our waitress recommended mixing the raspberry and peach wine slushies, and it was a great combination of tart raspberry and sweet peach.

In conclusion, Hocking Hills Winery is a must-visit destination for wine lovers.

The stunning grounds, diverse selection of wines, and affordable prices make it a perfect spot for a day trip or a weekend getaway.

Whether you’re a seasoned wine connoisseur or just looking to try something new, Hocking Hills Winery is definitely worth a visit.
