As I stepped into the Buffalo Interpretive Center, I was greeted by the sight of a magnificent bison skull.

The museum and shop inside were wonderful, and I was lucky enough to be escorted around the facility by the knowledgeable Allen.

Although the buffalo were not close by during my visit, I was able to hold an adult buffalo skull and learn about these majestic creatures from Allen.

He mentioned that it’s best to call ahead to ensure someone is there to show you around, as he is the only one there most of the time.
